News: Knock on Wood

From their workshop in Cherkasy in Ukraine, husband and wife team Elena and Dmitry Olshevsky , from Atelier Article, make a range of decorative items for the home. They've paid homage to Eames' house bird, with their own reinterpretation of the iconic black wooden figure. The original was frequently used by Ray and Charles as an accessory in photos of their iconic houses, while Atelier Article's plywood version (pictured) has been injected with a shot of colour in the form of blue.
